The park has extensive walking/jogging tracks, an 18-hole golf course, Botanical Gardens, the Christchurch Museum and an art gallery. Hagley Park is beautiful no matter what time of the year - trees showing their beautiful autumn/fall colours, their starkness in winter and their brilliant green in spring and summer. The Botanical Gardens are always a delight to walk through. Christchurch city, with its many attractions, is just a walk across the park.
