A Nest on Mount Pleasant
The Nest is situated in one of Christchurch’s most loved hill suburbs, nestled in a garden of native bush with views from the living areas of our Estuary, Sea and Mountains
(snow covered in the winter) beyond.
Our bed and breakfast is a unique self-contained home, yet with all the service and friendly, personal hospitality of any homestay.
THIS IS THE PROMISE OF THE NEST
We live right next door and are there for you at all times. Breakfast, cooked and served at the “Nest”, can last for hours, but can also be finished in 15 minutes if that is what you want.
Your enjoyment and happy memories of your holiday are important to us. If you have any special requests please just ask.
We are very close to Christchurch’s best beaches with excellent cafes and restaurants, Lyttelton Harbour, Tamaki Heritage Village, The Gondola, a Golf driving range and very soon a nine hole golf course, plus hillside walks with breathtaking views to the Southern Alps
We have easy access garage parking for two cars.
The Nest has TV, stereo, DVD and BBQ plus full kitchen and laundry facilities.
There is a small library of NZ books for your reading enjoyment
The neighbourhood is tranquil and safe
A baby cot and high chair is available for you.
Extensive use of natural timber adds to the ambience of the Nest,
All this only 15 minutes drive from the centre of Christchurch and 2 minutes walk to a bus stop.

The Nest is built on three levels with extensive decking for maximum enjoyment of it’s hillside setting. There is a lot of inside and outside living space for total relaxation.
The Nest is also available for you as a Holiday Home rental, should you so desire.

Directions to A Nest on Mount Pleasant
Please take Ferry Road towards Sumner. When you get to The Ferrymead Bridgeplease follow the Estuary around until you get to McCormacks Bay Road, turn right into that and then right into Soleares Avenue. Toledo place is off that on the right. We will have a cup of coffee waiting for you.
