Relax, unwind and enjoy the peace, privacy and serenity of our absolute beachfront on the beautiful Taipa Beach. With only 6 spacious units set off the road in an acre and a half of grounds, your tranquillity is assured.
You can be as active or inactive as the mood takes you. Swim in the sea or our pool, walk or jog along the beach, surf & bodyboarding when the swell is up, take a sit-on kayak and face the surf, take a leisurely paddle along the coastline and stop at a secluded beach or voyage up the Taipa River estuary and explore the quiet mangrove tributaries. Journey near or far...but rest assured in returning to the quiescent surroundings at Taipa Sands.
Our large one bedroom units are fully self contained, spacious and your comfort is assured with recent new chattels including beds. Each unit has twin beds and a queen (sleeping 4 comfortably), with the Studio having a king bed. All have fully equipped kitchens including oven and microwave. Irons and ironing boards are in each unit

Directions to Taipa Sands Motel
DrivingTravelling here by car by the direct route using State Highway 1 and State Highway 10, the journey time from Auckland is about four hours without stops. Travelling the Twin Coast Discovery Highway - a world-class touring route leaving from, and returning to, Auckland - requires at least two days in each direction to visit the many interesting and beautiful attractions along the way. When you reach Doubtless Bay on SH10, leave the turn offs for Mangonui township on the right. Continue through Coopers Beach and Cable Bay. After crossing the single-lane bridge across Taipa River, take the second turning on the right by Taipa Area School into Mamaru Road and then the first turning left by the Multi-cultural Centre into Adamson Road. Taipa Sands Motel is on the right-hand side.
