South Claragh and Bird Cottage
Guest accommodation In our charming centrally-heated farmhouse consists of two ensuited rooms one with a shower. The other deluxe room has a cast iron claw-foot bath which is made for two people.
Both rooms have their own private entrance/exit out to their own decking area which overlooks our beautiful gardens which cover three acres surrounding the farmhouse.
Each room also has its own table a chairs outside on their decking areas,ideal for relaxing,having a coffee and taking it all in.
TV/DVD players are in both rooms and we have a large selection of DVDs for guests use free of charge.
If more accommodation is required we have a small room with a single bed and a trundle.
To start your day a fully cooked English breakfast is prepared in our country kitchen which can be enjoyed in our dining room or outside in the summer months on the patio beneath our breathtaking wisteria.
Light meals and snacks are available by prior arrangement for those who require them (a fee applies).
A barbecuehere is available for guests use.
BIRD COTTAGE
If you prefer to be a bit more independent, why not stay in our cute 1950s cottage which is nestled in the trees with its own little forest.
The cottage is in a secluded part of the property with its own access along a leafy trackway through the trees.
Bird Cottage is fully self-contained so if you want to stay for a long or short time everything is there for you apart from provisions.
There is one bedroom with a double bed but if you require more, the lounge has a bed settee which makes into another double.
We have an outside heated spa pool, for cottage guests only(a fee applies).
The cottage is also supplied with a BBQ for guests use.

Directions to South Claragh and Bird Cottage
Take the Rotorua road out of Taupo town centre, you will ascend a long hill.On your left you will see a turning saying Acacia Bay. The next turning on the left is Poihipi road.South Claragh is located at the end of Poihipi road on the left 10 metres from the T junction.
