Woodside Cottage

Nick and Jock Clouston warmly invite you to stay at Woodside Cottage, "Benmore", on the New Zealand's Kaikoura Coast. Built in the 1950s, the restored cottage is situated on the original horse and cart coastal track and has accommodated many a weary traveller.

he cottage has two attractive, comfortable bedrooms with self contained bathroom facilities. There is one twin room and one double room. Try our complimentary home made biscuits and "real" coffee as there are full kitchen and laundry facilities. We have recently added an extra room in the refurbished cottage annexe. The room has a king size bed and enjoys restful sea views. Being able to accommodate 6 guests enables you to enjoy a fun weekend with friends.

For your leisure, you can take a native bush, surf beach or picturesque farm walk right at your doorstep. For a special treat, we can prepare a country picnic basket of your choice: quiche, salad, chicken pate, sandwiches and fruit.

If fishing for fun or serious angling is your pastime or passion, we can organise fishing trips with local angler, 'Sam The Man'.

Take time to unwind, light a cosy fire and read in the adjoining sitting room. We provide all provisions for a light and healthy breakfast or, a combination of continental and cooked breakfast.
