The Burn

The Burn boutique alpine bed & breakfast is nestled in the heart of New Zealand's southern alps at Castle Hill Village. Our secluded accommodation offers a relaxed atmosphere amidst the unique limestone rocks and surrounding peaks of the Craigieburn Range.

The six local ski areas boast untracked powder, with excellent uncrowded terrain for skiing, snowboarding and telemarking.

Five lakes and rivers are host to fantastic fly fishing and is just one example of the many outdoor pursuits the area can offer. All four seasons The Burn is your relaxing home away from home.

With most of our guests being activity orientated individuals who are "out & about" during the day, The Burn offers them a stylish & affordable place to retire at night in comfortable heated rooms with mountain veiws from every window.

Chill out in the large dining/lounge room and let us fix you an excellent home-style meal. Make yourself a drink, relax in front of the fire & relate your day's adventure with like minded guests from around the world.

There's a seperate bathroom & toilet on both floors, as well as drying room, wax/tuning bench, laundry facilities & gear storage. There's no TV, though phone, fax, & internet are available.
