Kahurangi Brown Trout

You will find the Kahurangi Brown Trout nestled beside the Motueka River.
Ideal accommodation for trout fishing and perfectly situated for day trips to the Abel Tasman, Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes national parks, Golden Bay and Nelson.

We offer you personal attention in one of our two guest rooms. Our location is slightly off the beaten track - perfect for both quiet relaxation and busy exploration of the many local attractions.
The bedrooms are both well-appointed with either a kingsize or twin beds and ensuite bathroom.

Each are semi self-contained with a mini-fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are tastefully furnished and open out onto a sunny courtyard and garden - a perfect spot to curl up with a good book.

The courtyard leads to the living room and kitchen of our comfortable country home, where guests are made welcome.

Breakfast includes warm, homemade bread and jam, muesli, yoghurt, our organic berries and fruit in season. Bacon and eggs are also available. All served with juice, fresh coffee and tea.
Evening meals are prepared using organic produce from our garden, and we specialise in delicious wholesome cooking. We can cater to specific dietary needs and enjoy preparing a wide range of dishes.

A typical evening meal would be homemade tomato soup with hot bread and fresh herbs. Fresh salad from the garden. Chicken marinated in spices and white wine served with baked kumara, potatoes and yams plus crunchy broccoli and carrots. To finish, blueberry pie made with berries from the garden and whipped cream. All served with local wine, tea and fresh coffee.
