Aoraki Lodge
Relax in the informal atmosphere of our cosy Lodge set amongst a rambling "county-style" garden. Aoraki Lodge is located in the centre of Twizel. It is just a short walk to all restaurants, clubs and other facilities, yet offers complete privacy.
All rooms are double and have en suite/ bathroom with heated towel rails and hair dryer. Also included heating, electric blankets and television. A full breakfast is included in the room rate.
World renowned fishing areas and several lakes are only a short trip away and Mt Cook just a 45 -60 minute drive from Twizel.
Your hosts, Ian & Sandy Darwin, welcome you and will advise on what to "see & do" in this beautiful part of the world. Ian, a member of the NZPFG Association, is a well known fly-fishing guide in this area.

Directions to Aoraki Lodge
From Omarama take the southern entrance into Twizel on the left. Second turn right into Mackenzie Drive with the golf course on your left. As you pass the fire station you will find us on the right on the corner of Mackenzie Drive and Dusky Place.From Tekapo or Mt Cook take the northern entrance on the right into Twizel. At the service station turn left into Mackenzie Drive - we are on the second corner on the left.
Please turn into Dusky Place where you will find our Parking Area and entrance to our Lodge.
