Aoraki Lodge
Relax in the informal atmosphere of our cosy Lodge set amongst a rambling "county-style" garden. Aoraki Lodge is located in the centre of Twizel and just a short walk to all restaurants, clubs and other facilities - yet offers complete privacy.
Single, twin and queen accommodation are available. All rooms have en suite/ bathroom, heating, electric blankets, television, hair dryers, heated towel rails and tea and coffee making facilities. A full breakfast is included in the room rate.
World renowned fishing areas and several lakes are only a short trip away and Mt Cook just a 45 minute drive.
Your host, Ian Darwin, is a fishing guide so he and his wife Sandy, your hostess, are able to suggest local activities and many places of interest to make your visit more enjoyable.

Directions to Aoraki Lodge
Travelling north from Omarama turn left at the southern entrance to Twizel t then turn right at the golf course and you drive a short way past the fire station and you find us on the corner of Mackenzie Drive and Dusky Place.Travelling south from Tekapo or Mt Cook turn right at the northern entrance to Twizel then left into Mackenzie Drive when you reach the the "T- intersection" (near the service station) - we are on the next corner on the left.
