Christchurch is a 45 minutes drive. Activities include skiing Mt Hutt and 5 other fields, golf 4 courses including Terrace Downs, Rakaia River jetboating, Lakes, Tranzalpine train to the West Coast, horseriding, hot air ballooning, hunting.
Gunyah is a historically listed house with period furniture and refinements. It has 4 large double bedrooms individually decorated, ensuite facilities. Lavish four-course silver-service dinners are prepared by European chef from the best of Canterbury's produce and to individual requirements. Original wine cellar.
