Duart Homestay in Alexandra will soothe and cosset you, be it in stone terraced garden,library, verandahs or by the sitting room fire. Then allow the unique Central Otago air to refresh and invigorate while you enjoy our views in a very private location.
Once the magic has worked, there are wine trails, gold mining ruins, orchards, treks, restaurants, the Rail Trail, the museum, fishing, galleries and a myriad sporting activities (including kyaking and mountain biking) to explore.
We enjoy company and conversation if that is your wish. In any case a warm welcome awaits you.

We have a double bedroom downstairs with en suite. Upstairs is both a twin room and a single room room with 3/4 bed. The bathroom is private, but guest shared if we are fully booked.
Tariff: $!10 Double. $90 Single.

Directions to Duart Homestay
From Alexandra take Highway 85 which goes to Omakau and Ranfurly and an alternate route to Dunedin via the Pig Route. We are 5 minutes (3.5 kilometres)from Alexandra, almost at the top of a hill and just past the Galloway tun off. The "Duart" sign is alongside 5 mail boxes where you turn onto a small side road and find us at the end.More about our New Zealand accommodation
