Directions to Treetops Lodge and Wilderness Estate

Directions to Treetops Lodge and Estate from Auckland:

Head south on Southern Motorway.
At bottom of Bombay Hills, turn left onto State Highway 2
Continue south on State Highway 2
Carry straight ahead onto State Highway 27 (to Matamata)
Continue south to Tirau where it hits Highway 5 to Rotorua
Continue straight through Rotorua – Fairy Springs Road, Old Taupo Road heading south towards Taupo.
Immediately (300metres) after leaving the residential area of Rotorua (heading towards Taupo), turn right onto Highway 30 (to Tokoroa).
Travel exactly 10km down Highway 30 and take the first road on the right which is Apirana Road (signposted to Treetops Lodge, Horohoro School)
Travel approximately 600metres down this road and go straight ahead (onto gravel road), this road is called Kearoa Road
Travel to end of Kearoa Road approximately 3kms.
At end of road, tree-lined lane with two “reddy-brown” houses set back below hills.
Go through gate and head up the hill (below houses) which will lead you approximately
2.5km through New Zealand native forest (you are now getting close!!)
Arrive at Treetops Lodge and Estate.
