Hopewell
Hopewell is situated in a sunny, secluded and sheltered position, right on the beach, with great views of the Sound. There are five cottages that provide four double rooms, three double rooms with bathrooms, three twin rooms, one four bed bunk room and one cottage is fully self-contained.
All beds include linen and duvets. The well equipped kitchen and lounge makes for easy dining and relaxation. It has a wood fire, , stereo, lots of books, magazines and games. The newly renovated 2 bedroom cottage has a stunning outlook over the Kenepuru Sound and is only 20 metres from the sea. Feel free to enjoy the sun and views of our extensive gardens with BBQ and outdoor seating to make the most of those warm, sunny, cruisy days.
Gourmet Pizzas, homemade bread, pancake breakfasts available. Gather mussels, oysters and cockles. Catch snapper. Bring all other food.

Directions to Hopewell
Hopewell is situated in Double Bay in the Kenepuru Sound.You can drive here, the road is very windy but in good condition.
You can take the Queen Charlotte Drive from either Havelock or Picton and turn into the Kenepuru Road at Linkwater. We are at the end of the Kenepuru Road. It usually takes about 2.5 hours driving time from Picton or 2 hours from Havelock.
You can take a watertaxi from Picton, Havelock or Te Mahia. Contact us directly so we can provide you with the best option at the time.
Sounds Air also flies into the Kenepuru Sound at Nopera, we provide a free pick-up.
