We are located within walking distance from a world class golf course, cafes and surf beaches at beautiful Mangwhai Heads.
Mangawhai is a quiet little beach resort, nestled between the coast and beautiful rolling farmland, about an hour and a half north of Auckland, and just under an hour south of Whangarei on the Eastern side of Northland. Wherever you go in Mangawhai you will enjoy the spectacular views of the Hen & Chickens, Sail Rock and Little Barrier floating in blue seas or the tranquil beauty of the harbour and estuary

Directions to Milestone Cottages
From the South take the Twin Coast Route off State Highway One from Te Hana north of Wellsford. On reaching Mangawhai Village turn right into Moir St and then left into Molesworth drive by the Smashed Pipi Gallery.Drive 3.5 km till Naja Garden Centre and Cafe. Turn Right into Moir Pt Rd and we are on the left at No 27. We have a large sign outside.
From the North turn on to the coast road off State Highway One at waipu. Follow the coast road passed Lang's Beach.
At the Mangawhai intersection turn left, then at the top of the hill turn Right at the Roundabout. Stay on Molesworth drive till you pass the Golf Course on your right and at the top of the hill looking down at Naja Garden Centre take the next road [Moir Pt Rd] on your left. We are on the left.
