Aylstone Wine Country Retreat

A retreat in the heart of Martinborough’s vineyards, Aylstone features large, luxyurious bedrooms with country ambience and vineyard or garden vistas. Beautiful gardens and privacy complete the picture. Ideal for relaxing accommodation while exploring the nearby world-famous vineyards, and only a 5 minute stroll from the village square.

Everyone deserves a little luxury on occasion. Aylstone’s five spacious rooms are individually designed, in keeping with the house’s colonial heritage.

Each room has its own décor and character, complete with the small finishing touches denoting classic quality. Enjoy views over vines, the garden or the Martinborough hills.

Choose from super-king, queen or twin-bedded rooms. One super-king room is suitable for guests with disabilities, and all have their own private en-suite bathroom. Direct dial telephones, television, radio, internet and email facilities are included.

Our leisurely, seasonal and country-style breakfasts are included in the room rate. Please let us know if you have any special preferences.

Part of Aylstone’s charm is that there are many small private spots for guests to enjoy in solitude if they choose. Perhaps the gazebo or under a quiet tree.

Of course, if you’re feeling more active, you might enjoy taking our complimentary bicycles for a spin around the flat easy roads amidst some of our finest grapes, ripening gently in the sun. Or stroll to the Martinborough Village, sample a café and browse through the boutiques for something special.
