Our home is 2mins walk to an unspoiled beach with wild surf and wonderful sunsets. Relax in our spacious home and garden, the ensuite rooms are tastefully decorated with every convenience. We are a working farm milking 420 cows. Enjoy a special whitebait breakfast with fresh baked bread. Join us for an evening meal with farm grown beef, lamb, venison or fish caught fresh from the sea, with organic vegetables, homemade desserts and NZ wine.
You might like to have a BBQ on the beach instead.
Karamea is surrounded by the Kahurangi National Park, visit the Limestone Arches or take a guided tour through the Limestone caves. A coastal walk along the Heaphy Track among Nikau Palms is most impressive.
Also available trout fishing, a 9 hole golf course, bird watching.
West room is a king-size bedroom with ensuite, including a bath, tea and coffee making facilities, desk and suitcase rack, computer connection.
The French doors open onto a private terrace.
North room is a queen-size room with ensuite and sliding door opening onto it's own private terrace with views of the garden.
Double/Twin room shares the family bathrooms.
All rooms have electric blankets, heated towel rails, heaters, hair dryers and very comfortable beds. You are welcome to use the laundry facilities. I enjoy cooking including my complimentary delicious home made shortbread, chocolate chip cookies and carrot cake, with tea and coffee plunger at anytime.
