Up the rise, on the left, at the top of Wellington St., is Rivenhall one of Picton's older more gracious homes. A home with all the comfort and charm of days gone by.
Rivenhall overlooks the town of Picton with its views of the Marlborough Sounds and of Picton's Background of surrounding hills.
Not just a stopover at the beginning or end of your South Island tour, Picton can be a destination of its own. With Sound’s activities and tours all running from the bottom of our street, suggested one day activities, wine tours, kayaking, return trip to Kaikoura for whale or dolphin watching (own transport), day trip to Nelson (two hour drive each way) or walking the Queen Charlotte track (one to four days) plus walks and shopping around town.
