Wanganui River Top 10 Holiday Park
Enjoy an unforgetable stay on the banks of the Whanganui River. We offer accommodation in Park Motels, Self-contained units, Kitchen Cabins, Standard Cabins, Power or Tent sites. We are proud of our clean and modern facilities. We have a summer heated swimming pool, private spa, twin seated pedal trikes, big screen sky TV, paint ball court, kayaks, and mountain bikes. In the games room are pool tables, air hockey and table tennis.
Wanganui offers plenty of activities and we advise visitors to take enough time to do the following: Visit Kowhai Childrens Play Ground, Durie Hill Tower, Virginia Lake, Bason Botanic Gardens, Museums, Cruise on the Waimarie Paddle Steamer and have fun on the 15m Cable swing at Mosquito Point and learn about the ostriches on the farm 1km from us. We hire Kayaks and do Jet boat and Scenic flight bookings. The ultimate rural farm stay about 40 km from us will take you back to the late 1800's and that is where we do a bit of possum hunting with guests.
