Te Moenga Lodge

Lake Taupo lodge, hosted by Brent and Jacque, features suites and chalets that are individually decorated, generously furnished, and are named after a variety of deer. These are Rusa, Elk, Wapiti, and Sika.
Rusa Chalet – features a king double bedroom, separate spacious lounge, full en suite bathroom with spa bath, and a private deck with spectacular views over Lake Taupo and the surrounding farmland.
Elk Chalet – Features a king double or twin bedroom, separate spacious lounge, full en suite bathroom with spa bath, and a private deck with spectacular views over Lake Taupo and the surrounding farmland.
Wapiti Suite – Queen bed studio suite, with a garden outlook, and a private en suite bathroom.
Sika Suite – King double or twin studio suite, with a garden outlook, and a private en suite bathroom.

Directions to Te Moenga Lodge
NorthWhen traveling from the North on State Highway 1 you'll come to the top of a big hill, as it is about to descend into Taupo. Huka Falls Rd is on the left (brown sign), take the next road on the right, which is Poihipi Rd (0 km). Travel short distance and turn left onto 'Acacia Bay Rd' (0.3 km). Stay on Acacia Bay Rd as it winds through a residential area, travel straight through the roundabout, straight ahead at the Give Way sign (1.3 km), go past a small shopping centre on right and continue on that road for a while through a rural area which is a 100km/hour zone. You'll then see big 50km zone signs (4.6 Km) and then the Acacia Bay Nursery, a restaurant & dairy on your left. Turn right into 'Reeves Road' keep driving along, it then changes into Te Moenga Park (private road) and we are right at the very top of the hill. (End of road).
South
When traveling from the South stay on State Highway 1, traveling along Lake Terrace (lake is on your left & home of our famous trout), following road as it veers right through Taupo township, continue straight through the traffic lights (0 km) and then left at the roundabout, over the bridge and turn left into 'Norman Smith St' (0.8 km) signposted 'Acacia Bay'. Wind up the hill and then round to the left and now you are on 'Acacia Bay Rd', go past a small shopping centre on right and continue on that road for a while through a rural area which is a 100km/hour zone. You'll then see big 50km zone signs (4.8 Km) and then the Acacia Bay Nursery, a restaurant & dairy on your left. Turn right into 'Reeves Road' keep driving along, into Te Moenga Park (private road) and we are right at the very top of the hill. (End of road).
