Black Sands Lodge offers a choice of two Suites or a Beach Cabin.
The Kauri Suite offers a King size bed with torquezone mattress, magnetic sheepskin underlay and Thread Design's best linens and electric blanket. This Suite is fully self contained plus SKY TV, Wifi off street parking, private BBQ and large private deck.
The Tui Suite is private and romantic with its own east facing deck for the morning sun and west facing deck for afternoon sun and sunset. Relax in the Queen sized bed, with quality bedding and linen, at the end of your perfect day in Piha. Electric blankets for winter warmth along with bedside lamps to add to the atmosphere. Access the ensuite from the bedroom or open plan living / kitchenette.
The Beach Cabin is elf contained Kiwiana accommodation The bedroom has very comfortable twin beds, a window day bed and color TV. With the original 'baby blue & pink paint' it is true beach Kiwiana. All your linen and electric blankets for the winter is here for you. Your own entrance to a modern bathroom shared with the owners.

Drive through the beautiful Waitakere Ranges past the Karekare turnoff and down the Piha Hill. At the bottom of Piha Hill immediately turn left into Beach Valley Road. Continue toward the beach. After going over 2 speed humps turn left into Sylvan Glade. Now take the first driveway on the left and you have arrived.
