Pittaways Cottage
Classified with the NZ Historic Places Trust, Pittaway's Cottage was built in 1875 and lovingly refurbished as Guest Accommodation in 2003. Just 2 minutes flat walk to the boutiques and cafes of Arrowtown, and 20 minutes drive from Queenstown.
Rooms & Facilities:
Cottage
While small in size, it’s big on ambience and has been tastefully refurbished without loss of original integrity. The intimate sitting/TV room features plush leather, historic photographs, old books and a wood burner fire, plus Sky and DVD. The two bedrooms (queen and twin) have quality bedding, the bathroom features a double spa bath with a shower over, and a small kitchen has a fridge, cooking hobs, and microwave. In summer, dine al fresco on the cottage verandah or at your exclusive use garden patio (includes a barbeque).
Studio
The studio is a separate building with it's own verandah and barbeque, overlooking the garden. Inside it has a queen bed, table and two chairs, sofa, and TV, plus ensuite. The kitchen area has cooking hobs, microwave and fridge.
Rollaway beds are available. Off street parking and free guest laundry is provided. Freshly ground coffee and plungers plus, tea, sugar, milk are standard.
Arrowtown is a four-season destination ... the leafing of the historic trees and blossoms herald a joyous spring ... the nearby vineyards and walks are a must in summer ... an artists and photographers mecca in autumn when the trees turn to gold and red ... in winter it's centrally situated between Coronet Peak and Remarkables Ski Areas.
