Cottage style accommodation on the shores of Lake Tekapo. Secluded and peaceful,amongst Tekapos oldest trees.
All the separate, self-contained, secluded cottages are situated near the lake and the shops. Nesteled in a large garden amidst mature trees. All have rural outlooks, and a degree of privacy.
The "Potting shed" cottage is more of a studio/cabin layout with double bed,and bathroom. TV, toaster and jug supplied. (no major cooking facilities.) . This cottage is small, but nicely furnished and comfortable. There are dishes supplied for takeaways or a light salad type meal. Tariff is $NZ85. 00 per night for two people. Wireless Broadband Available.
The "East wing cottage" has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge with log burner, new bathroom and a large deck with good views of the mountains and rural scenery. The Tariff is $NZ140. 00 per night for two people and $NZ20. 00 per extra person. It is private and comfortable.. a Heat pump and air conditioning ensure a comfortable ambient temperature. The " Rowan Cottage" has one double bedroom with a double bed, one small bedroom with two single beds and has two sleep outs attached to the sun deck. The sleep outs are just like bedrooms, one containing a double bed and one with two single beds. Both sleep-outs are carpeted, and have electric blankets and heating. The cottage is stand-alone, has a separate entrance, parking and is very private. There is a fully equipped kitchen, en suite bathroom, lounge with open fire, plus heaters. Tariff will be $NZ130. 00 per night for two persons and $20 per head for extra persons.Wireless Broadband Available! Heat pump and air conditioning ensure a comfortable ambient temperature.
The "Tui studio cottage" suits 2 persons. . comfortable and warm the cottage has a heat pump inverter to keep that ambient temperature comfortable, and furnishings to a very high standard. It also has a small kitchen. Ideal if you want somewhere to get away from it all for a couple of days without paying an arm and a leg.. The "Honeymoon suite" is a new large one bedroom cottage, fully self contained with an all new bathroom, washing facilities, kitchen, living area and large balcony overlooking rural scenes and mountain views. Comfortably furnished, the living area has a pull out double bed allowing the cottage to sleep a maximum of 4 people.(open plan living so it best suits two persons)The tasteful decor, privacy and the large peaceful sundeck overlooking reserve and mountains make this cottage the ideal getaway for couples looking for that special place. The Tariff is $160.00 per two people and $20.00 per extra person.Wireless Broadband Available! Heat pump and air conditioning ensure a comfortable ambient temperature.
The "Pines" two bedroom both en suite" are two fully self contained units joined in the middle with a kitchen. The two en suite studios can be rented together, to make a two bedroom unit or separately, with or without the kitchen. Each unit has its own bathroom. This flexibility provides very comfortable accommodation for either small families or individual couples. Good sound insulation and the kitchen between the two units provide for peace and privacy. The kitchen can be rented for either unit because of the lock up arrangements. Furnished to a high standard, well insulated and heated, the two units offer a comfortable stay for one or multiple nights, The tariff varies depending on which configuration one chooses but as a guide the following applies. The Tariff guide below applies for two persons renting one unit.

Directions to Lake Tekapo Cottages
From State Highway 8 at the Tekapo bridge turn into Pioneer Drive. Travel 100metres toward the Church of the Good Shepherd and turn right into Sealy Street. Tekapo Cottages is the last property on the right. Drive up the short gravel driveway and you will find the parking area and reception.More about our New Zealand accommodation
