Stagford Lodge is located in the tranquil setting of rural Taupo, while still only 8 minutes from Taupo township itself. It is nestled on 10 acres of private land, with surrounding views of the
mountains and lake Taupo. In addition to this there is a truly rural atmosphere provided by the sheep, cattle and of course two friendly dogs.
Stagford Lodge is a 16-year-old, 4000 square foot American style home. The sheer size of the house means that you have ample space for yourself without having the feeling that someone else is intruding on your holiday.
The grounds and paddocks surrounding the house are very soothing and offer opportunities for walks and quiet reflection. A bush walk through the pines to the rear of the property can be enjoyed.
Stagford Lodge offers two guest bedrooms - one Queen and one with two King single beds. Both guest rooms offer stunning vistas of the Taupo hinterland. There are also two guest lounges, which include a billiard room and spa pool (available in the Winter months), as well as a separate guest bathroom for the exclusive use by guests of Stagford Lodge.

Directions to Stagford Lodge
Stagford Lodge is located just a mere 8 minutes from Taupo township. Once you are in Taupo, travel South to the intersection of State Highway 1 and 5 next to a Mobil service station.From here proceed up State Highway 5 towards Napier, after travelling for approximately 8 minutes, you will see Mount Tauhara on your left, and on your right Caroline Drive, which takes you to Bonshaw Park.
Once on Caroline Drive, follow this until you reach Deborah Rise on your left. Then drive to the top end of Deborah Rise, to number 4.
