The Ferns (B and B and Chalet)

Only 30 minutes from Auckland Airport and the city, 'The Ferns' is located right behind the artistic hilltop village of Titirangi, offering both a hosted B&B in the main house, and a romantic self contained guest cottage for short or extended stays . 'The Ferns' is within walking distance of village cafes, the library, a supermarket, galleries and rainforest trails.

Titirangi is the gateway to the Waitakere Ranges Coastal Rainforest Park, with 200 kms of hiking trails and is west of the central city. Swim, golf, visit nearby vinyards or drive through exotic scenery to the dramatic west coast beaches only a short drive away.

The guest cottage (The Chalet), has a super king size bed in the loft and a double bed in the guest bedroom downstairs. The bathroom has a spa bath, shower and underfloor heating. Facilities include a well-equiped kitchenette (with full cooking facilties,) satellite TV, telephone, stereo, electric blankets, internet connection, washing machine, dryer, security system and under cover parking. Complimentary provisions for Continental breakfast are supplied on the first day only. Housekeeping weekly or by arrangement.The Chalet is available all year. Special rates for extended stays. Not suitable for toddlers.

The Ferns - 'Homestay/'Bed and Breakfast' has two guest bedrooms, one with a double bed, and one with a queens size bed, a private guest bathroom, spacious living area with satellite TV and stereo, and an outdoor patio surrounded by an exotic rainforest garden. Wireless broadband available. Owners reside upstairs..

Continental Breakfast is included in the tariff. Not suitable for children under 7 years of age.
