Directions to Cedar House
From Napier:On Highway 2 from Napier, the signs point you onto Highway 35 to Gisborne and East Cape. This becomes Gladstone Road, the city's main street. Once in the centre of town, turn left into Peel Street (at traffic lights). Pass over the Peel Street bridge onto Fitzherbert St, (park and gardens on both sides), and go straight through at the roundabout (Shell gas station on left). The street turns left after 50 metres, changing into Clifford St. We are first on left.
From Opotiki (via Waioeka Gorge - Highway 2)
Approaching Gisborne through grape growing country pass through a hamlet called Ormond. Shortly thereafter, turn left at the sign "Gisborne via Mangapapa", into Ormond Rd. Stay straight on through the "suburbs" until you reach a roundabout with Shell gas station on right. Turn left into Fitzherbert St here, then left again as it turns into Clifford St. We are first on the left.
From East Cape (Highway 35)
Approaching the town centre, after crossing the river bridge into Gladstone Rd (the main street), turn right at the Peel St traffic lights and continue as above.
