High on the mountainside, the views are breathtaking, from the rolling countryside to the nearby Pacific Ocean. Nestled on the edge of native forest, home to many native birds, including resident Kiwi.

Ara Roa is a 36 ha property set on the North side of Kauri Mt, an area 30 kms East of Whangarei. Native flora and fauna abound in an area noted for it's high ecological values.
All Ara Roa Facilities are "single party bookings". Meaning you have the place to yourself.

The Guest House
Combining contemporary architecture and a modern interior design with high quality materials it is a unique luxury retreat in Northland. The separate "stand-alone" house is perfectly positioned on a hill allowing fantastic views to the Pacific Ocean and the rolling country side.
