Situated 5 minutes from Taupo township, The Loft is nestled on a hillside above Lake Taupo. Your hosts Peter and Grace are relaxed friendly people who delight in the best things in life. Both have travelled extensively throughout New Zealand and the rest of the world. Their passions vary from food and fine wine to tramping and gardening.
Enjoy their scrumptuous breakfasts of fresh fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly baked muffins and croissants: wonderful scrambled eggs with mushrooms, bacon and home grown tomatoes - an experience not to be missed.
Arrange an evening meal at The Loft and you will be treated to a convivial three course dinner that will leave you with a lasting memory of New Zealand hospitality. After your dinner join your hosts for a compimentary port before retiring for a good nights sleep.
The Loft boasts three very private bedrooms each with queen size beds and ensuite bathrooms. Their style is RUSTIC, ROMANTIC AND WARM where the attention to detail shows that your comfort takes top priority. The lounge, with an open fire welcomes you to relax and enjoy afternoon tea while you chat about the Taupo region and your sight-seeing plans. TROUT FISHING TRIPS & ADVENTURE TREKS can be arranged by your hosts along with a myriad of other more relaxing activities.

Directions to The Loft
How to find us: If arriving from Rotorua you can turn right into Poihipi Road (Kinloch/Acacia Bay sign) directly after the passing Huka Falls south entrance. Take the first left turn into Acacia Bay Road and continue to Wakeman Road. Note you cannot turn right into Norman Smith Road.
Alternative is to continue into Taupo and proceed around the roundabout and then turn left into Norman Smith Road.
