Cosy Cottage International Holiday Park
Experience unique geothermal features in our Holiday Park, discover sizzling activity, boiling mud and a sporadic geyser. Walk to our exclusive white sand beach on the lakeshore; dig here to create your own natural hot pool! The Utuhina trout stream flows into the lake here. Catch a trout, cook it traditionally in a hangi (steam) oven!
Relax in therapeutic natural hot pools, enjoy our heated swimming pool. Bring a tent and experience "world-famous heated sites". Full range of heated accommodation from 2-bedroom self-contained flats to kitchen cabins. Internet facilities.
CABINS AND FLATLETS
KITCHEN CABINS
Small and simple units (sleep 2-5). Single room accommodation consisting of a double bed, bunks and a single divan. Includes a colour TV and equipped kitchenette. Guests use the campground toilet and shower facility.
FLATLETS
As above plus toilets and hand basin. Use the campground showers.
LODGE
59 beds using a combination of rooms described above.
NOTE:
All beds in the above accommodation are supplied with clean bottom sheets, and pillow cases. Guests supply their own top linen and blankets or sleeping bags. Alternatively guests may hire bedding.
SELF-CONTAINED TOURIST FLATS
2 BEDROOM SELF-CONTAINED TOURIST FLATS (sleep 6-9)
TV, toilet, shower, fully equipped kitchen or a kitchenette with fridge, hobs and microwave.
ECONOMY FLATS (sleep 5)
Popular for 2 persons on a budget. Self-contained studio units, TV, fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, fridge and chalet stoves. Toilet and shower. One larger unit has a separate bedroom with 3 bunk beds.
NOTE:
In flats and cottages the double beds are fully made with 2 towels supplied. All other beds are supplied with a clean bottom sheet and pillow case.
Guests hire additional bedding at an extra charge or supply their own top linen, blankets or sleeping bags.
You can request fully made up facilities with face cloths, soap, hand towels, tea and coffee supplied. Additional charges will apply.
COTTAGES
These individual heated Cosy Cottages are self-contained. More intimate and of a higher standard, they are ideal for 2 persons but can comfortably sleep up to 5 persons. Lounge, TV, equipped kitchenette has fridge, 2 element hob and microwave. The bathroom comprises toilet/shower and the separate bedroom contains twin beds and one bunk. Complimentary starter tea and coffee is supplied. Face cloths, soap and hand towels for 2 persons are provided.
