Silver Peaks Lodge
Silver Peaks Lodge - B & B Farmstay is located 15 minutes south of Dunedin city and 10 minutes from Dunedin International Airport. Set in a quiet rural atmosphere with fabulous views overlooking the fertile Taieri Plains and the hills beyond.
Offering quality accommodation on a working farm. A spacious guest wing with large rooms and private facilities or en-suites. Under floor heating for all year round comfort. A guest lounge/billiard room, guest dinning room,farm animals, spa pool and a large garden and pond area to enjoy. Two golf courses with in 1km and several restaurants in Mosgiel township only 3 minutes away.
LODGE ACTIVITIES
Working Farm demonstrations
With over 40 years of farming experience we are very happy to share our knowledge with our visitors. We are also happy to give our guests a working sheep dog demonstration and/or shearing a sheep demonstration at no extra cost. This needs to be arranged to make sure “the farmer” is available! Visitors are very welcome to take part in any other farm activities that may be happening at the time, for example feeding animals. This will vary depending on the time of year. We have a variety of farm animals – sheep, cattle, horses, sheep dogs, free range hens, ducks and of course “Wally”, our gorgeous black cat. Lambs are born in September so that is an exciting time of year.
Guest Lounge/Games room
The large guest lounge/games room has a full sized pool table, piano, TV, Video, and DVD player. Also, lots of games, puzzles magazines etc, for children to enjoy. This is a wonderfully warm sunny room with 2 sets of French doors opening out onto the veranda with stunning views. This room has a really “good feel” about it and a room very hard not to relax in!

The spa pool is situated on the veranda overlooking the Taieri Plains and the hills beyond. It’s extremely pleasant sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine and enjoying the night sky. Separate towels are provided for the spa.
Two golf courses within 1 km
Two golf courses within 1 kilometre of Silver Peaks Lodge. Both are 9-hole courses and visitors are very welcome. We have 2 sets of golf clubs and trundlers available for your use at no extra cost.
Large garden and pond area
Silver Peaks is set in 16acres of farmland and part of that is a large garden and pond area to enjoy.

Directions to Silver Peaks Lodge
15 minutes from the centre of Dunedin on the Main South Road and 10 minutes from the Dunedin International Airport.Coming from the North - Follow the signs to Invercargill/ Queenstown on the Main South Road. DON'T take the exit to Mosgiel. Pass through East Taieri (there is a red dairy very close to the left hand side of the road) Continue on & look for a B & B flag on your left and a blue B & B road sign opposite the entrance. Turn left up the drive and we are the 2nd house on the right. If you past the golf courses on the right you have gone too far.
Coming from the south. Go through Allanton and then past the Gladfield Gold course on your left. Look for the B & B Flag on the right and a blue B & B road sign on your left. Turn right off the main road up our drive and we are the second house on the right..
