The Weston House
THE WESTON HOUSE is a well known Christchurch landmark and was built for George Weston, a prominent Christchurch Lawyer, to a design by Architect Cecil Woods. It has been described in respected publications as the finest Neo-Georgian building in New Zealand and carries the coveted Historic Places Trust Category 1 listing. The House was constructed over a two year period by English craftsmen and was completed in 1924.
