Te Ngae Country Lodge
At Te Ngae Country Lodge, our mission is to spoil and relax you.
We offer two beautiful rooms within the house and a 2bedroom suite nestled in the picturesque grounds just outside Rotorua, New Zealand.
Located just minutes from Rotorua City and the Airport, you are close to all local attractions, as well as being far enough away to feel like your away from it all.
Te Ngae Country Lodge is surrounded by beautiful grounds, in which you can enjoy a walk in superb New Zealand bush or sit and enjoy the sun.
At the lodge we'll provide you with everything you need to enjoy your stay while with us. Enjoy your evening meal provided with the finest NZ wines, relax in the spa pool, or take in Rotorua City for a day full of sight-seeing or shopping.
The main house is the focus of our hospitality. We enjoy the privilege of inherited, beautiful, antique furniture which stands alongside comfortable, modern design. The two blend to produce an ambiance true to the lodge's mission, which is to spoil our guests and have them be relaxed.
Sit down to dinner overlooking the lake, the sunsets are superb! Our evening meal can be formal or casual with tastings of several New Zealand wines. As your hosts, we generally join you at the table, but should you wish a more intimate situation, we are happy to provide that.

Directions to Te Ngae Country Lodge
From Rotorua Visitor Information Centre (Fenton St. Rotorua).1. Head south along Fenton Street (away from the lake front).
2. Pass straight through one set of traffic lights, and turn left at the next set.
3. Follow this road right out of town, Drive past the airport.
4. You will pass a road on your right (SH 30) to Whakatane.
5. 300 meters past the Whakatane turn off, on the right, drive up the hill to Te Ngae Country Lodge (number 54).
