Pentlands offer cheap lodge accommodation in Mt Eden, Auckland, New Zealand. A owner operated backpacker lodge in a lovely colonial home with large gardens, tennis court and free parking.

Pentlands offers you a range of accommodation choices in a large colonial guesthouse set in spacious grounds on the slopes of Mt Eden. We are a small, friendly business and we will do our best to make you feel welcome.
You can choose from single, & twin rooms or shared rooms with 3-4 people in them.

(Breakfast is not included but a self catering kitchen means you can prepare your own meals or eat out at some of the great local cafes)

Whatever you choose you can expect the same high standard of service from us all.

We have a off street car parking as well as being located in a quiet street with lots of street carparking so you can be guaranteed somewhere to park your car or store your bike.

If you are looking for somewhere comfortable & friendly to stay away from the rush of downtown, where the air is clean and you can get a good night's sleep but close (2.5 km to city centre) to all Auckland has to offer then you are in the right place. We are on a bus route into the city ($1.20 fare) or it is approx-30 minutes walk.

Mt Eden is a very special part of Auckland. It is full of historic & character homes, fun shops, cafes, restaurants and local people. Many of Auckland's finest artists, actors, musicians and writers choose to live here creating a friendly community spirit and a slightly bohemian atmosphere.

Eden Park, home of the Auckland Blues rugby team, is also walking distance. There's heaps of things to do close by. You can take a stroll up Mt Eden and experience some of the magnificent views of the city, harbours and their thousands of sails or chill out in the many cafes, restaurants and bars.

Or if you are feeling energetic we have a tennis courts across the road, lots of walks and cycling tracks and a heated swimming pool 5 minutes walk away. A short bus ride will take you to downtown Auckland. If you have a car the choices are endless. Whatever you want to do Mt Eden has a whole heap to keep you happy.
