Rainforest Retreat is located in the heart of Franz Josef Glacier village, on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.
Rainforest Retreat offers new, well equipped accommodation superbly nestled in six acres of native New Zealand rainforest, and only minutes walk from the local village. We have enjoyed creating this as an exclusive area of the park, offering just two Tree Houses and six Tree Lodges set amongst a beautiful secluded, natural environment.
