We are very lucky to have a piece of New Zealands's natural beauty. Tarata is nestled in the remote Mokai Valley where the rugged Ruahine Ranges meets the magnificent Rangitikei fishing "right at your doorstep".
We have many farm animals and there is heaps to do for the whole family.
Spot light safari, farm tours, guided raft/fishing, scenic rafting, "magic carpet" rides, "mini" golf with a difference.
Homestead accommodation - 2 bedrooms and guest bathroom.
Fishermen's Cottage - 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
River Retreat - fully self contained with awesome views of the Rangitikei River, 2 bedrooms, spa bath,bathroom and kitchen/lounge.
Swimming pool and spa pool.

Directions to Tarata Fishaway
Turn off state highway 1, 6 kms south of Taihape at the Bungy (Gravitiy Cannon)and Ohotu sign post. Follow the signs (14km)to the bungy bridge. We are 6 kms past here on Mokai Road.Drive carefully and we will put the jug on.
